Act No. 1 AN ACT To amend Chapter 2 of Title 18 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, to add thereto a new Part, to be designated as Part I-A, containing R.S. 18:384 through R.S. 18:423, both inclusive, and also to amend Chapter 3 of Title 18 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, to add thereto a new Part, to be designated as Part I-A, containing R.S. 18:841 through R.S. 18:863, all relative to elections, to provide for an open election system; to provide for a primary election for the nomination of candidates and for a general election at which certain officers of the state and its political subdivisions shall be elected; to provide generally and specifically with respect to the conduct of the primary and general elections and matters pertaining thereto; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.

ACT No. 84 AN ACT To amend Title 13 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950 by adding thereto as a new Section to be designated R.S. 13:2581.1, to incorporate into the statutes the provisions of Article VII, Section 47 of the Louisiana Constitution of 1921, which Article XIV, Section 16 of the Louisiana Constitution of 1974 continues as a statute, to provide for the qualifications and election of justices of the peace.

ACT No. 87 AN ACT To amend Title 13 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950 by adding as a new Section to be designated R.S. 13:2586.1, to incorporate therein, the provisions of Article VII, Section 50 of the Louisiana Constitution of 1921, which Article XIV, Section 16 of the Louisiana Constitution of 1974 continues as a statute, to prohibit the receipt of fees in criminal matters by justices of the peace and constables, and to authorize the payment of salaries in lieu thereof.

ACT No. 130 AN ACT To amend and as amended to arrange in proper statutory form and incorporate into the statutes the provisions of Art. VII, Section 51, of the Constitution of 1921, relative to the jurisdiction of city courts, continued as a statute by Article XIV, Section 16 (A)(5) of the Constitution of 1974, by amending Title 13 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950 to add thereto a new Section, to be designated R. S. 13:1952.1, to provide with respect to the territorial jurisdictions of the City Court of Bossier City and of the justice of the peace.

ACT No. 329 AN ACT To amend and reenact Section 2584 of Title 13 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, relative to the jurisdiction of the justice of the peace courts, in order to amend and, as amended, to incorporate therein the provisions of Article VII, Section 48 of the Louisiana Constitution of 1921, which are continued as statutes by Article XIV, Section 16(5) of the Louisiana Constitution of 1974, and to amend and reenact Article 4832 of the Louisiana Code of Civil Procedure, relative to the jurisdiction of justice of the peace courts.
