AN ACT to amend the several Acts concerning the Criminal Court of of the City of New-Orleans.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That the said Court shall, from and after the appointment of one Judge, as provided in this act, be known and called Criminal Court of the first District, and that  the salary of the three Judges, now in office, shall cease from and after the appointment of one Judge, as provided in this act, any law to the contrary notwithstanding.
