ACT No. 611 AN ACT
To amend and reenact R.S. 13:312.1(B), R.S. 13:621.34, R.S. 13:621.40 and R.S. 13:1335(A); relative to judges; to provide for an additional judge each for the Second Circuit Court of Appeal, the Thirty-fourth Judicial District, the Fortieth Judicial District Court and the Criminal District Court for Orleans Parish; to provide for compensation of the additional judges; to provide for their election and their term of office and those of their successors in office; and to provide for related matters.
Notice of intention to introduce this Act has been published as provided by Article III, Section 13 of the Constitution of Louisiana.
ACT No. 711 AN ACT
To amend and reenact R.S. 13:1381.4(AX2), relative to the judicial expense fund of Orleans Parish Criminal District Court; to increase the limitation on the amount of additional cost assessable against a defendant in misdemeanor and felony cases; and to provide for related matters.

ACT No. 17 AN ACT
To amend and reenact R.S. 13:62 as enacted by the Act of the 1989 Regular Session that originated as Senate Bill No. 785 of the 1989 Regular Session, introduced by Messrs' Bankston, et al., and to amend and reenact Subsection-B of Section 61 of Title 13 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of'1950, as enacted by said Act of the 1989 Regular Session, by adding thereto a new Paragraph, to be designated as Paragraph (5) thereof, relative to judges, to provide for the eligibility of certain judges to select senior judge status, and to provide for related matters.
