AN ACT to incorporate the parish of Orleans.
SECT. 3. And be it further enacted, That whereas, the inhabitants of the parish of Orleans, have imposed on themselves, an annual tax, for a given time, in order to procure necessary funds for the purchase of a suitable site and to build thereon, buildings for the sittings of the several courts held in New-Orleans;
