A Brief History of the Orleans Criminal District Court: 1944

ACT No. 6.   AN ACT
To amend and reenact Section 1 of Act 14 of the Second Extraordinary Session of 1934, as amended and reenacted by Act 82 of 1938 entitled "An act defining Narcotic drugs; providing for the regulation and control of the sale, possession, prescribing, dispensing, dealing in and distribution of, such narcotic drugs; making uniform the law relative thereto; and prescribing penalties for the violation of this said Act" and repealing all laws or parts of laws in conflict herewith.

ACT No. 77.        AN ACT
To provide that an additional salary may be paid the Judges of the Criminal District Court for the Parish of Orleans, to be paid by the City of New Orleans.

ACT No. 111.    AN ACT
To amend and re-enact Article 54 of the Louisiana Criminal Code, being Act 43 of 1942; providing penalties; repealing all laws in conflict.

ACT No. 224.        AN ACT
To amend and re-enact Article 123 of the Louisiana Criminal Code (Act 43 of 1942.).

ACT No. 225.    AN ACT
To amend and re-enact Article 359.1 of the Louisiana Code of Criminal Procedure and to repeal all laws or parts of laws in conflict herewith.

ACT No. 253.  AN ACT
Fixing the salary of the Clerk of the Criminal District Court for the Parish of Orleans, and providing for the payment thereof by the City of New Orleans, as heretofore.
